How To Avoid the Most Common Holiday Plumbing Problems: Sinks
December 17, 2012With Christmas just a week away, we want to be sure your holiday isn’t thrown into chaos by a plumbing disaster. The two most common are clogged toilets and clogged drains.
With lots of holiday cooking and baking being done, and lots of family members gathering for celebrations, sinks and toilets get a lot of use. To avoid clogged sinks, you should check all sinks to be sure none are draining slowly. In the kitchen, be sure to scrape food elements from dirty dishes into the garbage before you rinse dishes in your sink to avoid food clogs. In the bathroom, wipe any hair that falls into the sink bowl before you run water so the hair doesn’t go down the drain.
