Be Sure Your Landscaping Doesn’t Interfere With Your AC
June 3, 2013As your shrubs and trees get full, lush, and dense during the spring, and new growth starts to shoot out, be sure that plants aren’t too near your AC compressor. This is especially important if you’re doing new landscaping. That small hydrangea you put in the ground can grow to 7 times its current size. Plants should be at least 3 feet away. Many people landscape to hide the compressor, which is OK, as long as there is plenty of air circulating around the compressor. If you’re not sure whether your landscaping is interfering, call us at 610-593-5129 and we’ll come do an inspection and tell you what changes, if any, you should make.
