After a long, cold, damp winter its good to do a spring checkup of your plumbing.

If you don’t have a service contract, here are some tips for things to look for. Check gaskets on faucets to be sure they don’t need replaced. Check sink strainers and aerators to see if mineral deposits have built up. Take out all the products stored under your kitchen and bathroom sinks to see if there are any signs of leaking or corrosion. Check shower and bathroom drains for hair clogs. Take off your showerhead and clean it to remove mineral deposits.
